Title: Omega Brand Manager
Experience: 6+ years.
Remuneration: R40,000 – R50,000 (depending on experience).
Location: Cape Town. In office with flexibility.
Agreement: Permanent employment with 3-month probation period.
Role Summary:
Omega Originals is looking for a dynamic Brand Manager who’s deeply tapped into culture and trends, someone who can guide, shape, and grow the brand’s voice across trade, retail, content and partnership channels.
This is a strategic and creative leadership role for a candidate who understands the pulse of local culture, has a solid foundation in brand marketing, and knows how to craft narratives that connect with today’s generation.
You’ll lead seasonal B2B campaigns, develop impactful trade materials and sales tools, and foster strong, authentic relationships with third-party partners.
Expect to bring energy, cultural insight, and a passion for driving relevance and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement Omega’s brand and marketing calendar, including seasonal trade campaigns, sales support initiatives, and new product launches.
- Develop compelling trade marketing tools, including seasonal lookbooks, wholesale materials, and product knowledge kits.
- Identify and manage brand-building partnerships and collabs with external partners and influencers.
- Oversee B2B communications and sales enablement support across retail and wholesale channels.
- Work closely with the Digital and Content teams to ensure messaging is consistent and relevant.
- Provide creative direction on campaign assets and storytelling across print, social, and digital channels.
- Manage campaign and brand budgets effectively.
- Deliver regular reports and insights on campaign effectiveness, spend, and return on investment.
- Collaborate with the Tsonga Brand & Retail Manager to align broader brand strategies and share insights.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in brand marketing, trade marketing, or related field.
- Fluent in Zulu or Xhosa (written and verbal).
- Deep understanding of pop culture, youth trends, and the South African consumer landscape.
- Experience working on retail or alcohol brands preferred.
- Confident managing partners and building authentic collaborations.
- Strong strategic and creative thinking.
- Experience developing marketing materials and directing creative teams.
- Financially literate with experience managing budgets and reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Understanding of AI tools and emerging marketing technologies.
