Title: Video & Content Editor 
Experience: 3+ years.
Remuneration: R25,000 – R30,000 (depending on experience).
Location: Cape Town. In office with flexibility.
Agreement: Permanent employment with 3-month probation period.

Role Summary:

We’re looking for a hands-on, ideas-driven Content / Video Editor to help bring Tsonga and Omega Originals to life through powerful visual storytelling. You’ll be responsible for capturing content and turning it into high-performing assets, from TikToks and Reels to short-form ads and campaign videos.

This is a creative executional role for someone who loves being on set, understands the rhythms of social video, and can edit with pace and punch. The ideal candidate is fluent in Zulu, has a strong sense of visual style, and is comfortable working with multiple teams to deliver great content under tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Capture content at product shoots, brand activations, and store locations. 
- Edit and repurpose footage into TikToks, Reels, Instagram Stories, and paid social ads. 
- Collaborate with the brand, social, and design teams to align visuals with campaign strategy. 
- Help conceptualise and storyboard quick-turn content ideas. 
- Optimise video formats for different platforms and audiences. 
- Add music, captions, animations, and overlays where needed. 
- Keep up to date with platform trends, editing styles, and best practices. 
- Use AI and content tools to enhance productivity and visual quality.

Requirements:

- 3+ years of experience in video editing, content creation, or social storytelling. 
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or equivalent video editing tools. 
- Strong camera and shooting skills (DSLR or mobile). 
- Fluent in isiZulu (written and spoken). 
- Solid understanding of social media formats and platform nuances.
- Fast, adaptive editor who can work across both structured and reactive content. 
- Comfortable working solo or as part of a small on-the-ground crew.
- Interest in fashion, retail, and pop culture. 
- Familiarity with AI tools and emerging content technologies.
- Highly organised with a proactive, solutions-first mindset.
